A Trip And Some Updates

Hello again! So I had the opportunity to go to Washington D.C (for the first time) this past week for a conference.

I attended the CUR STR 2023 program. I had a lot of fun, I met a lot of government-related people and raised advocacy for undergraduate research. I’m glad I got the chance to be there!

I also decided to add more of the projects I have done during my undergraduate time at A-State and my exchange in Italy. For instance, me and some colleagues developed the Fire Detection code for the AI Lab course in Sapienza, during my time in Italy.

I also have to mention the AgAdapt and riceGEA projects that I contributed to during my time at the EcoEvoInfo Lab with Dr. Emily Bellis, back in 2022. It was great working with maize prediction and later expanding it to environmental niche models.
